Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, transforms Phlegm-Heat, softens hardness and dissipates nodules.
Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 15g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates fluids.
With Xuan Shen, for Kidney Yin Deficiency with Fire Blazing with soreness and swelling in the throat, dry mouth and a parched tongue.
With Xuan Shen and Mai Men Dong, for swelling of the throat and lymph nodes, a dry throat, irritability, a red tongue and a fast thready pulse due to Devastated Yin with Blazing Fire.
With Bai Shao, for Blood Deficiency Heat.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 15g Nourishes Lung and Stomach Yin, stops coughing and generates Fluids.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 15g Nourishes the Blood, regulates menstruation, astringes Yin, adjusts the Ying and Wei, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
Sm. Trichosanthis Gua Lou Ren 15g Clears Heat, transforms Hot Phlegm, cools and moistens the Lungs, expands the chest, dissipates nodules and eliminates pus.
Rx. Trichosanthis Tian Hua Fen 15g Clears and drains Lung Heat, transforms Phlegm, moistens Lung Dryness, generates Fluids and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Mu Li, for irritability and mental disorientation due to Lung and Stomach Yin Deficiency and ascending Heat with thirst.
